A major regional health plan used the Motive Practicing Wisely Appropriateness of Care Measures to engage physicians around best practices. This awareness of individual practice patterns led to changes in behavior that resulted in improved appropriateness scores, decreased utilization and average potential savings of $33K per physician, per year.
